Our Team

We have a diverse team of tutors who can cover a wide range of subjects and levels. Our tutors are dedicated and passionate about helping their students to feel supported in achieving their goals.

How We Assemble Our Team

When we choose new tutors to be a part of our team, we look for individuals with excellent interpersonal skills, because we know the first key to effective tutoring is good tutor-student rapport. The other important characteristics we value in our tutors are communication skills, passion for teaching and helping others, a patient and understanding attitude, and, of course, an appreciation for learning and a commitment to their own education.

How We Train and Support Our Team

New tutors go through a training period with us to give them an opportunity to learn the role as well as our values and how we operate. Each of our tutors are assigned a senior tutor as a mentor whom they check in with on a regular basis for support, guidance, and an opportunity for self-reflection. We also provide ongoing training to our tutors every school holiday period in the form of seminars and workshops. We all support each other to grow as tutors so that we can always do our absolute best for our students.
