Apex Tutoring is a small business with locations in Berkeley Vale and Wyong on the Central Coast of New South Wales. We provide one-on-one tutoring and academic support to students of all ages and abilities. We believe education should be inclusive, and our goal is to build students up, help them to do their best, and encourage them to be lifelong learners.

We are a local business which started right here on the Central Coast. We are proud to support the education of our community while also being part of the local economy.

Our business was started and is still led by mathematics tutor Mindy Amaral. We are also proud to support the mothers, women, and girls of our community by providing them with educational and work opportunities.

Our Story
Apex Tutoring started out as “Apex Math,” run from home by sole tutor Mindy Amaral in Berkeley Vale.
As demand grew and she found herself booked out, she brought on a few select tutors to provide additional mathematics tutoring as well as tutoring in English and Science.
Apex Tutoring grew to comprise a team of 20 tutors serving over 200 active clients and is now run from a professional tutoring centre on Lakedge in Berkeley Vale. The business is still led by founder Mindy Amaral.
Our values
Our primary value is to provide students of all ages and abilities the opportunity to reach their academic goals, and hence their life goals, by providing access to educational support.
There are many aspects to this objective, but the most important ones to us are these:
- Ensure students feel supported
- Ease students’ stress or anxiety in regards to school
- Make learning enjoyable and spark curiosity in students
- Make sure students feel heard and consider students’ needs throughout the learning process
- Encourage students, recognise effort and progress, and build self confidence
